UNREAL ENGINE

Some footage from the 3D model of Regent Street I’ve built in Unreal Engine. This video shows a manual walk through using a gamepad in Store Tour mode. The actual game involves defending the forum cubes from alien robots while using power-ups based on all my team mates and is fun, funny and pretty hectic! I’ll be happy to show clips if interested. The game logic uses a combination of Unreal’s Blueprint visual scripting system and C++ (done in Xcode).

BLENDER TURNTABLES

Unreal supports basic geometry but isn’t equipped for full 3D modelling, so the only way to do justice to Regent Street’s gorgeous architecture was to learn Blender! This video is a short look at the assets I created for the game above. One thing I learned from this - vertex art is very beautiful :)

WEB DESIGN

Some example interactivity from my website as a professional musician. I wanted a way for visitors to listen to my music while browsing, so used Tumult Hype to build a site with a custom Soundcloud player. The main skills used for this were HTML 5 and CSS.

PROCREATE Timelapse videos

When we started teaching Procreate for Today At Apple sessions I was pretty mediocre at visual art, so I set myself a challenge to learn photorealism. After 6 months I was getting pretty good results. These videos are a good example of how I like to combine my different skills. I make the pictures in Procreate, edit the timelapses in Final Cut and use them as videos for my album tracks (in Logic)!
